It is 4 pm. A worker calls in sick, and tomorrow’s shift has no cover. You open your phone, scroll through profiles, and send a few messages. Then you wait.
Sound familiar? Many NDIS providers lose hours every week chasing replies, checking who is free, and wondering if the worker will turn up on time.
CarerMarket Australia takes that job off your plate. You post the shift details. We match your shift with a suitable, screened support worker based on availability, skills and location.

We built CarerMarket in Melbourne, and NDIS providers and independent support workers told us where shift cover goes wrong, and we shaped every tool around their answers. We screen every worker against NDIS requirements during onboarding. Every check-in carries a GPS and QR record, so you see who arrived, where, and when.
Keep reading to see the problems we solve, the tools you get, and the reasons providers choose us.
We spoke with providers across the sector. The same frustrations came up again and again:
Endless profile scrolling.
You compare bios and availability while the start time gets closer.
Messages that go unanswered.
You send five requests and hope one worker replies.
No proof of arrival.
You trust a worker turned up, but you have no record to check.
Notes and incidents in different places.
A paper form here, a text message there, and an email you cannot find.
Paying for a shift nobody covers.
You post, you wait, and the shift still sits empty.
Each of these steals time you would rather spend on the people you support.
Think about booking a ride on your phone. You enter where you need to go, and a driver finds you. You never scroll through every driver in the city.
CarerMarket works the same way for shifts. You tell us what you need, and our matching process does the searching.
Step 1: Post your shift
Add the date, time, location, and type of support. An Estimated Match Time appears as soon as you post, so you know what to expect.
Step 2: We match a suitable worker
We review availability, skills, and location, then connect your shift with a screened support worker.
Step 3: The worker checks in
At the start of the shift, the worker scans a shift-specific QR code. GPS confirms the worker stands within 100 metres of the shift location. If the location does not match, the shift does not start.
Step 4: Read the note and approve
The worker writes a short shift note when they finish. You read it, approve the shift, and keep the record on the platform.

Time back. You stop browsing profiles and chasing replies.
A match that fits. We look at availability, skills, and location before we connect you.
Peace of mind on arrival. GPS and QR check-ins give you a time-stamped record of every shift start.
Records in one place. Shift notes, incident reports, and feedback live together, and you find them in seconds.
A fair fee. You pay no platform fee when no worker completes your shift.
Better matches over time. Feedback that both sides share helps us improve future matching.
Most platforms stop once they hand you a list of names. We stay with you until the shift is done and documented.
Something unexpected happens on a shift? Document it inside the platform. The time and details save automatically, so you manage the incident with a clear record.
Workers record the important details of each completed shift. You read the note before you approve, so nothing gets lost along the way.
You share how the shift went. Your worker shares their side too. Honest feedback that both people share makes future matching and the overall service experience better.
If no worker completes your shift, you do not pay the platform fee. You post with confidence, because we only earn when your shift gets done.
A shift-specific QR scan and a GPS location check confirm the worker arrived at the right place. You get clear attendance records without extra paperwork.
We screen workers against NDIS requirements as part of onboarding, before we match them to any shift.
Built in Melbourne, growing across Australia. We know the local disability support sector.
Matching, not browsing. Our platform does the searching so you do not have to.
Shaped by real feedback. NDIS providers and independent support workers helped us design every tool you see here.
Proof you can see. Time-stamped check-ins, notes and reports sit in one place.
